CHRocodile MTTL    NEW

CHR_MTTL_thumb2The CHRocodile MTTL optical sensor/probe  is a newly developed optical probe that has been developed to simplify the job of setting up a non-contact measurement. Currently the CHRocodile MTTL has only been  implemented on the 8mm working range optical probe – there are plans to extend the range of working range optical probes with the new capability. The benefit of the CHRocodile MTTL system is the incorporation of a visible camera system into the optical path of the chromatic sensor. By using the same beam path (ie co-axial) the camera supplies to the operator a high resolution image of the region surrounding the focused measurement point. The CHRocodile MTTL represents a departure from the standard principle of optical probes being unpowered but the advantages of being able to see precisely where a measurement is being made will make using the chromatic probes simpler, faster and accurate. . CHRocodile MPS     NEW

CHR MPS2The CHRocodile MPS optical sensor is a new multi-channel system that provides outstanding value per channel of operation. With up to 24 independent channels a mixture of single point distance and thickness measurements can be acquired at up to 108,000 measurements per second. When used in conjunction with the new  MPS 10 optical probe a line of 10 points is able to measure either distance or thickness from ten positions simultaneously. The CHRocodile MPS has been designed for industrial environments – it is housed in a 19″ rack and is robust and maintenance free. As well as Ethernet, USB and RS422 interfaces it also has 5 encoder inputs, trigger input, and sync-output. It is perfectly suited for challenging measuring tasks, such as non-contact measurements of container glass where out of specification items can be found more reliably saving money and time by avoiding unnecessary rejects.
